Who are you?
Read who/what Pascale is...
Pascale is...
a student, a daughter, an older sister, a little monster, crazy for the UK, a pickle person, a night owl, a friend, hardcore, a joker, a little weird,
very friendly, a fangirl, grumpy in the morning, a hopeful photographer, a dancer, good with children, bad with left-traffic, clumsy, a party girl,
a teachers' assistant, an organiser, a hopeful singer, a RockStar drinker, a heel-person, into Disney, a blogger, a hopeful writer, a chick lit reader,
curious, into fashion, always on twitter, an inventor, against drugs, interested in proper shoes on men, working in a restaurant, impulsive, excited for the future!
Pascale likes...
accidently taking 5 m&ms out of a packet of the same colour, sunshine blinding me while I'm driving, driving my car alone so I can sing along to my favourite songs without bothering anybody,
when the music in restaurants is exactly loud enough to still hear it and still be able to speak to each other,
the sound of the tumbledryer, McFly, getting mail, shopping online, karate battles with people that don't know squat about karate,
making pokemons out of tinfoil and have battles, a heavy wallet, doing random cartwheels, living after your horoscope,
happymeals, sudoku, twister fries, giving advice even though I never really take any advice from others, murder documentaries,
taking silly quizes from magazines, Simon Mitchell's amazing art, telling ghost stories even though I'm the biggest wuss around, my glasses,
schoolparties with old teachers, researching random facts, sleeping in, exploring, Adam from The Struts.

exciting day
Wednesday, 19 May 2010 06:40
Is very early, should be getting ready and having breakfast, but wanted to blog. Today is day I am meeting with teacher. Hopefully get good tips of him. Will try to get money refund for the police check, forgot how much that costs but remember it wasn't cheap. Especially since I need English one. Will also ask what to email back to lady who wants me to come over - had crazy dream that my college paid for a quick visit. Got very nice hotel in my dream. Sad it wasn't real when I woke up.
Will tell you how it went and what I learned later.
Edit: Okay. Am at city hall now to fetch police check form. New building has computers to entertain you while waiting. Also TV, very fancy building. Today I had conversation with teacher. Thought he'd just tell me what to type up and print on official school paper, but instead wrote letter for me. Typed very slow, made unfunny jokes to which I laughed loudly. Maybe bit too loud. Said I was lucky to have found school who want me. Know I am lucky. Walked around school with big envelope, important letter inside, protected like was a treasure. Teacher tried to persuede me to go to Australia. Said no thanks. Tried again. Said I would think about it, but was lying. Want to go to London.
Spotted someone from work - computer is saving me from having conversation, not in the mood for conversation now. Have ticket number A 060 - big screen behind computer says next number is A 047... will be long wait.
Edit: Spent full hour at the city hall of which 30 minutes browsing the web and the other 30 watching Nickelodeon. Our city hall is amazing. Lady couldn't help me, said she needed to read email to prove that they want me to get police check. Instead she gave me form and a note with a number to call for appointment, 'So you won't have to wait for an hour next time.' Thank you nice lady, but I kind of enjoyed waiting with all the fun stuff around. Anyways, case to be continued.
no fun!

Just when I decided to give up on waiting for more emails, I get two.
Dear Pascale,
Thank you for your email. We will not be finalising our placements for Spring 2011 until the new academic year. As you will appreciate we have a vast number of applications for work placements and voluntary work opportunities, we will however keep you information on file and will contact you if we are able to offer you a placement nearer the time.
Thank you again for you interest in Old Palace School.
Regards,
Office Manager Old Palace School
As nice as that is, it isn't of any help. I need to know before summer. No, I want to know before summer. So Old Palace is a no-go. Then, the other e-mail. Remember when I said I emailed Bluegate Fields back, asking to consider having me again? I got this.
Dear Pascale
Why don't you come and have a chat? Afternoons are the best time for me, so just let me know when it would suit you.
Headteacher Bluegate Fields Junior School
I would love to, honestly, but is she forgetting where I'm from? If I had the money to have a one day return to London, I'd do it. No questions asked. How will I reply to this without sounding like a bitch?

Told boss about London yesterday. Seemed excited for me after I said wasn't until January. Wanted to know what kind of school said yes, had nice little chat.
