Howdy!

I am Pascale and will be living in London for a while. You can read all about my brain-dead tourist situations, embarrassing cultural mistakes and see all the pictures and videos I make. I will also post some proper blogs about the work I do to please my parents and teachers. I'd appreciate it if you left a comment. Use the links underneath the top picture to navigate.

Here comes the summer!

Saturday 9 April 2011 14:03

Yesterday was pure bliss. I felt like I was on holiday in the middle of the summer - so good! I met Suzanne outside Top Shop at about 3 o'clock to do some shopping. As I was waiting for Suzanne, Lisa from the MacTwins casually walked RIGHT past me. Being the loser that I am, I was too starstruck to go and say hi or even get my picture taken. Boo! Anyway, after shopping we went to Hyde Park to just chill and do a little sunbathing. We got Creme Egg McFlurry's to feast on... yea, they're not as amazing as you'd think.

Suzanne!

Hyde Park looking gorgeous!

At about 7 we went to Brixton to have a park-dinner with Nadine (who's Dutch as well) and Scott, Suzanne's roommates. We had the most fun, teaching Scott Dutch words and sentences and trying to make him pronounce it right. It really felt like I was on holiday!

Circus in the background!

The rest of my weekend (even though the weather is still beautiful) will be spent working on my DPF. Because the HAN really thinks it's the most clever thing ever to have students do this whilst they're abroad and they don't have half the evidence they wish they'd had. Boo!

Zukie!

Tuesday 5 April 2011 17:39

Zukie!

This is my time to do some fanwhoring on my blog that's mainly read by people that accidently click it on facebook, my parents and occasionally one of my teachers. Even though I'm expecting the latter not to buy any of Zukie, it'd be pretty bad ass to see one of my ancient teachers (sorry guys) wearing some of the amazingness called Zukie.

Anyway! The top image is the design of one of Zukie's amazing T-shirts - which happens to be the new clothing line of the bassist of one of my favourite bands - designed by Simon Mitchell. On Friday at the Wembley gig, when we were casually chilling outside in the sun with the perfect view of the queue, someone gave us a flyer with the comment; "Hiya gals, Dougie's got a new clothing line called Zukie Cloting, check it out." which is how my week without dinner started. I bought two pricey items (not to mention the shipping price could buy me another T-shirt) which will hopefully have arrived at home when I go there in two weeks. Don't worry, I'm not starving - school lunches are terrific and usually leave me full until breakfast the next day.

Yea, so... my mum requested me to post something about work. Nothing important is really happening. It's the same old, same old. It's not boring, it's just not worth sharing. Also, Suzanne and I have booked our train tickets to Bournemouth! We're heading down to the seaside for a day next week - should be fun! Also meeting some friends I haven't seen in 3 years. MEEP.

Happy UK Mothersday!

Sunday 3 April 2011 18:39

It's Mothersday in the UK today! But, my mum's not a UK mum, so I didn't get her anything. Tough.

Last Friday I went to see McFly live @ Wembley and oh, my God, it is the most amazing gig I have ever been to slash will ever go to. No questions asked. Gig was immense as were their support act The Struts (new fav band, me thinks yes). Afterwards we met up with Suzanne, Fabienne and her friend Emma and we all went to Liverpool Street. We initially wanted to go clubbing at Shoreditch, but with all the merch we'd bought, Caroline and I decided to just grab some fastfood and head home.

The upcoming week will be a 5-day-count-down... not just for me, for everyone at work. Because next week the Easter holiday starts. Three weeks of freedom! Suzanne and I might head down to Bournemouth one day if the weather's nice enough and catch up with some old friends of mine. There's lots more plans, but I'll tell you more about those later...
