Who are you?
Read who/what Pascale is...
Pascale is...
a student, a daughter, an older sister, a little monster, crazy for the UK, a pickle person, a night owl, a friend, hardcore, a joker, a little weird,
very friendly, a fangirl, grumpy in the morning, a hopeful photographer, a dancer, good with children, bad with left-traffic, clumsy, a party girl,
a teachers' assistant, an organiser, a hopeful singer, a RockStar drinker, a heel-person, into Disney, a blogger, a hopeful writer, a chick lit reader,
curious, into fashion, always on twitter, an inventor, against drugs, interested in proper shoes on men, working in a restaurant, impulsive, excited for the future!
Pascale likes...
accidently taking 5 m&ms out of a packet of the same colour, sunshine blinding me while I'm driving, driving my car alone so I can sing along to my favourite songs without bothering anybody,
when the music in restaurants is exactly loud enough to still hear it and still be able to speak to each other,
the sound of the tumbledryer, McFly, getting mail, shopping online, karate battles with people that don't know squat about karate,
making pokemons out of tinfoil and have battles, a heavy wallet, doing random cartwheels, living after your horoscope,
happymeals, sudoku, twister fries, giving advice even though I never really take any advice from others, murder documentaries,
taking silly quizes from magazines, Simon Mitchell's amazing art, telling ghost stories even though I'm the biggest wuss around, my glasses,
schoolparties with old teachers, researching random facts, sleeping in, exploring, Adam from The Struts.

18 sleeps
Thursday, 6 January 2011 14:29
It's getting closer and closer and I'm getting more and more excited! Especially after reading blogs of my classmates who've already traveled to their destination. Suzanne, Danielle and Carola have landed in Belfast this week and reading their blogs is sort of making me jealous. Yet, I am still happy that I'm home a couple more weeks.
Tomorrow I'm going to go shopping with Celesta. She's kidnapping me for the day (her words) and won't let me go home until the next day. We're shopping in Rotterdam, then go have dinner somewhere and after that we're going clubbing. The things I'll most be looking out for are 'office clothes'. People who are not familiar with the UK and their workfield probably don't know this, but as a teacher you aren't really allowed to wear jeans... or trousers that look like jeans. Also, because I don't want to come across as this free-Dutch-girl (because in Holland nothing is really shocking) I'll also be careful with low cleavage and too short dresses and skirts. It's not a problem, I just need a new wardrobe... which I don't mind of course. Any excuse for a new wardrobe really.
My packing list is getting longer and longer. I am absolutely terrified I'll forget something, so I'm constantly thinking about what to bring with me. I know that it won't be THAT big of a deal if I forget something, since my parents are coming over a week after I've moved in and they're able to bring stuff I've forgotten.
It's only 18 sleeps away, and I'm definitely counting down! If you happen to know of an item or several items that you have forgotten when you moved away - let me know so I won't make the same mistakes!
Two-thousand and eleven

And now, since it's actually 2011 - HAPPY NEW YEAR! Any resolutions? I usually don't do these - when I do make myself a list, I forget about it Jan 1st because of my hang over. Hmmm... let's see. I guess that the most obvious one would have to be to HAVE FUN. Not that I haven't had any fun in the previous year, but 2011 is going to be an awesome year and I can't wait what all awaits me.
If you've got any resolutions that you are actually planning to STICK TO (who ever does that? doesn't everyone sort of get over their resolutions mid January?) I wish you all the luck and strength you need!
